Unfortunately Tumorboy Productions did not have the pleasure of meeting Leigh in this life but she inspired our company none the less. Leigh was a very special woman with a fondness for dogs. She wrote amusing poems about "Man's Best Friend" that we were allowed to use in our show Wit Humor and Just Plain Fun. Her words touched all of our hearts and we were honored to give life to them. Leigh lost her battle with cancer on this day two years ago. We want to thank her for bringing joy to our lives and the lives of fellow cancer warriors at Gilda's Club North Texas!
What a wonderful gift to see Lyly on your page. Thank you so much for honoring her in this way today. We miss her very much of course but we know she's doing something fun like writing jokes, throwing a toy with Happy (her last dog), or spending time with Scott, her boyfriend. All three of them are together---such a loss, but so comforting to us here in this plane.
