Worth the Hiatus

Well clearly Tumorboy Productions has been on a hiatus. Though we apologize for the temporary hold on our productivity, as a new mother, I can clearly say it's been worth it!!! I thought producing a play was hard work. I will never produce anything this spectacular. I've only been a mother for two months and I can without a doubt say that all mothers, (at least those that are willing participants), deserve a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT award. In fact I think when you're in the hospital and they hand you that precious bundle of joy, you should get to make an acceptance speech. Mine would be something like..
I would like to thank God for allowing Brad and I to be parents of this beautiful baby girl. Brad and I NEVER planned on having children and were taking preventative measures NOT to have them, but managed to get pregnant anyway. I would say that's clearly divine intervention. Thank you Brad for stepping up to the plate of Fatherhood when you could have easily walked away and had a midlife crisis instead. You not only beefed up your commitment to me (as if you needed to) but you took on the role of parenting like a method actor. I'd like to thank my mother for your willingness to guide me through this process as if I'm NOT a complete idiot...which I am. I'd like to thank my friends for your willingness to become the "village" that it will take to raise this child. Last but not least I'd like to thank my brother Bryon. You will always be an inspiration to me. There was a deep hole left in my heart when you passed away and then all of a sudden this little miracle showed up in my belly. I know you had something to do with that. It's fitting that I named her after you.

Tumorboy will be back up and running late summer or early fall. We are already cooking something up in the kitchen. But until then please forgive us as we transition from parents back to producers. Enjoy a picture of our latest production BRYON IRINA ALLEN.

See you soon folks!
